Cloned Buffer...

Hello all, I am back with the same enthusiasm and energy to express more about my journey at Masai School. But, with better knowledge, understanding, and implementation of JavaScript.

I would like to take you through the learning curve of my journey so far -

  1. Unit concepts.
  2. Project brief.
  3. Key takeaways & special mentions.

Unit concepts.

  • Javascript - Advanced data types, constructors, call, apply & bind methods, prototype, inheritance, JSON, local storage, asynchronous programming, API, XHR, fetch, promise, async-await, ES6 - classes & inheritance, pagination, urlsearchparams, destructuring, spread, rest.

Project brief.

Introduction about the website -

Buffer is the all-you-need social media toolkit that lets you focus on doing what you love for your business.

Aspects & snapshots -

As the given website was almost a static one, we majorly focused on coming up with a replica of it in terms of visual visibility and with much focus on functionalities. Below are a few images of static pages.

  • Dashboard.

Report -

We as a team worked hard to bring the scattered bits & pieces of our project into a cloned website. Due to time constraints, we choked on imposing more functionalities. But, the work is in progress to impose most of the possible features. You may explore our codebase available on GitHub by clicking here.

Key takeaways & special mentions.

We came across many hurdles, but never gave up. We broke them into bits & pieces, worked upon them, resolved them, fixed them together to shape up this project.

It was all about approach, problem-solving, management, and many more factors. As we always have a scope of improvisation, we as a team would like to improvise on time management, collaboration & work efficiency. This project was shaped-up well with the substantial contribution from Meera Mendhe, Minakshi Das, Abhishek Sardagi(Myself) & Manish Kumar Nayak. Thank you.
